Steve has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in consulting, manufacturing, sales, and business development across New Zealand, Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the USA. He has a strong track record of driving business recovery through fractional leadership, scaling operations, securing capital, and expanding markets globally to deliver multimillion-dollar revenue growth in sectors such as construction, infrastructure, automotive, and manufacturing.

As Principal Consultant in a New Zealand-based consulting firm since 2019, Steve has provided B2B growth strategies for clients in real estate services, construction, manufacturing and building services, doubling pipelines, boosting conversions by 25 40%, and supporting more than $4M in capital investments. Previously, he served as General Manager for a high‑performance automotive and advanced manufacturing group, helping transform a specialist engineering shop into a world‑leading exporter of precision components supplying dealers in dozens of countries and partnering with major international brands. Earlier, he led the build‑out of a cold‑lay asphalt and road‑maintenance venture from startup to national scale, negotiating multi‑year licensing agreements and supplying councils and contractors across Australia and New Zealand.

Steve has managed large sales, operations, and manufacturing teams, and is comfortable leading cross‑functional groups through complex change and growth phases. He brings strong management capability in budgeting, planning, and performance improvement, and has secured bank and private‑investor funding to support expansion, digital infrastructure, and new projects. He also assists shareholders and directors to assess, structure, and implement capital raises, acquisitions, and exits for new additions to their businesses, ensuring alignment between ownership, governance, and management.

Steve began his career in export and territory management in building products and construction tooling, covering New Zealand and the South Pacific and working with major trade and infrastructure suppliers. He excels at designing and implementing sales funnels, CRM and marketing systems, and practical go‑to‑market strategies that unlock growth in trade, construction, industrial, and services businesses.

Steve enjoys the challenges of business and is particularly passionate about setting clear strategic long‑term direction with shareholders, directors, and employees so everyone is aligned on where the business is going and how it will get there. He enjoys helping businesses clarify their vision, implement practical strategies, and achieve sustainable success. An engaged father and long‑time Auckland resident at and enjoys skiing, snowboarding, fishing, boating, the outdoors, and travel.
