Mitch has over 25 years’ experience in a diverse range of industries, including Energy, Food Processing, Technology and Satellite Broadcast Television.  Mitch has lived and worked in Australia, China, USA, Africa and NZ with roles in general management, commercial, business development, strategy and change management where his focus on innovation, growth and change has delivered more than $200 million of revenue.  Mitch has worked in, assembled and managed both large and small teams in multiple cultural contexts.

 Some highlights of Mitch’s endeavors include:

●      Pioneering the successful expansion into the Australian electricity market creating the leading competitive metering provider with current revenues of $137m, growing at $14m/year with long-term contracts to ensure it’s on track to be a $200m/year business.

●      Leading large-scale global digital system change initiatives across a 200+ service team.   Pulling together a global spare parts master pricing framework for more than 20,000 SKUs and deploying a multi-country service rate card methodology to increase margin and competitive pricing.

●      Transformed a legacy gas metering business to double its annual revenue to $24m.

●      Turned around and integrated a Commercial and Industrial metering business unit create operational rigor, systems and processes,resolved the industry compliance breaches, improved the market reputation and resolved its complex shareholding.

●      Played an instrumental role in the successful development and commercialization of the smart gas service in New Zealand, the first in the Asia Pacific.

●      Project management of Sky TV’s upgrade to HD rebuild of their entire broadcast facility within their existing playout facility without an on-air incident.

●      Led a technology start-up focused on the development of a “MySky-like” set-top box platform including Open TV.

●      Secured a groundbreaking Satellite pay-TV deal with China Central Television to delivery content to more than 200 million villagers.

 Outside of work Mitch has two amazing adult daughters, a very loving, patient and talented wife and two prima donna Italian greyhounds, Asha and Pepper.

Mitch enjoys mountain biking in the local Riverhead forest and Woodhill mountain bike park and multi-day tramping all of NZ amazing tracks.  He doesn’t enjoy losing at Poker, apparently it’s just a game.
